OKX Deposit Not Credited? Confirmations, Minimums, Wrong Network and Memo Checks (2026)

Most missing deposits come down to confirmations, a below-minimum amount, the wrong network or a missing memo. Based on OKX's own help pages, here's how to tell which one you've hit, what to do about each, and five checks before your next deposit.

Published 6 min read

Checked on October 13, 2026. Procedures come from the OKX help center, listed at the end. Minimum deposit amounts and confirmation counts for each coin are shown on the OKX deposit page.

You've sent USDT from another exchange or wallet and it still hasn't shown up in your OKX account. Don't send it again yet. Almost every missing deposit comes down to one of a few causes: not enough block confirmations yet, an amount below the minimum deposit, the wrong network, or a missing or wrong memo/tag. The first two usually just need time or a check of the rules; the others need a recovery request.

Work through it in order: check the status, go down the checklist, then follow the matching fix. If you don't have the transaction hash (TxID) yet, get it from the sending side first; Crypto Withdrawal Not Arrived? How to Trace It With the TXID shows how.

Step 1: check the deposit progress on OKX

  • App: go to Assets > Deposit > Deposit crypto, then tap the History icon in the upper-right corner.
  • Web: scroll to All deposits on the deposit page and check the Progress and Status columns.

If the deposit is listed, OKX has seen it and it's usually waiting for confirmations. If it isn't listed at all, look up the TxID on a block explorer such as OKLink. If the transaction isn't on the blockchain, the problem is on the sending side and you need that platform's support. If it shows as successful on chain, continue with the checklist below.

Credited but can't withdraw: the two confirmation counts

Every OKX deposit has two confirmation thresholds:

  • Confirmations required for crediting: once reached, the funds appear in your account.
  • Confirmations required to unlock withdrawals: once reached, the funds can be withdrawn or sold through P2P.

Between the two, the funds show in your account but are temporarily unavailable for withdrawal or P2P selling. That's normal and clears on its own. The counts differ by coin and network; you'll find them under "Deposit arrival time" and "Withdrawal available time" on the deposit page.

Checklist: common causes and what to do

CauseHow to tellWhat to do
Not enough confirmations yetThe deposit is in your history and progress isn't completeWait; nothing else is needed
Below the minimum depositThe amount is less than the minimum shown on the deposit pageIt won't be credited; recovery is only supported for some coins and carries a fee, so ask support
Wrong network, or a network OKX doesn't support for that coinThe sending network doesn't match the one selected on OKX, or the coin/network pair isn't on the OKX deposit pageSubmit through the Deposit Self-Service Tool; such deposits are generally not refundable and recovery isn't guaranteed
Missing or wrong memo/tagA coin that needs a memo/tag (XRP, XLM, TON and others) was sent without one or with the wrong oneContact support quickly with the coin, amount, correct and incorrect tag, and TxID
Several deposits bundled into one transactionThe sender combined multiple deposits into a single on-chain transactionOKX says these won't be credited; contact support
Mining or blockchain rewards sent to the deposit addressThe funds came from a pool or block rewardOKX doesn't support these deposits
Sent to an old deposit addressYou used an address copied long agoOKX updated some deposit addresses on March 27, 2025, and says old addresses remain valid and funds won't be lost
Wrong address altogetherThe receiving address on chain isn't your OKX addressContact whoever provided the address; confirmed transactions generally can't be reversed and recovery isn't guaranteed
Identity verification not completedYour account hasn't passed KYCOKX only lets verified accounts deposit; finish verification first (see KYC Verification Failed?)

Deposits below the minimum amount

This is the easiest mistake to make and the hardest to undo. People often send a small "test" amount that is itself below the minimum deposit.

OKX's help pages don't say quite the same thing. The "deposit not credited" page says deposits below the minimum can't be processed, reversed or refunded. The deposit fees page says recovery of below-minimum deposits is supported for certain coins, with an additional recovery fee whose amount isn't published. Whether yours can be recovered is up to OKX support.

The fix is to check the minimum for that coin and network on the OKX deposit page before sending, and make your test amount larger than it.

Wrong network or unsupported coin: the Deposit Self-Service Tool

For a wrong network, a token on a network OKX doesn't support, or a coin OKX doesn't list, use the Deposit Self-Service Tool:

  1. In the app, open the main menu in the upper-left corner and choose Get help.
  2. Choose Check recent transactions > Can't find your recent deposit?
  3. Select the coin and deposit network, enter the TxID, and choose Check deposit.
  4. If the system says the transaction can't be found, choose Request Help to open a ticket.
  5. Follow up under Check your tickets in the Help Center.

OKX is clear that deposits via unsupported networks or of unlisted coins are generally not refundable; it will make reasonable efforts to help, but recovery isn't guaranteed. In some cases the funds do arrive but appear under Untradable assets; from app version 6.0.29 you may be able to withdraw them directly, paying only the blockchain network fee.

For every wrong-network scenario and its recovery odds, see Sent Crypto to the Wrong Network or Address?

Missing or wrong memo/tag

For coins such as XRP, XLM and TON, an exchange's deposit address is shared, and the memo/tag tells it whose money arrived. Without the right tag, the funds reach OKX but can't be matched to your account.

OKX asks you to contact support as soon as possible, starting with the AI chatbot, and give the coin, amount, correct tag, the incorrect tag you used and the transaction hash. OKX doesn't publish a timeframe or fee for these cases.

Sending USDT from Binance to OKX: pick a network both support

USDT exists on many chains, and Binance and OKX don't support exactly the same ones. The network chosen on the sending side must match the one selected on the OKX deposit page; otherwise, in OKX's words, you'll lose your assets.

Use the Binance–OKX USDT network table to see which networks are open on both sides and what each charges to withdraw, then compare costs in the withdrawal fee table. Send a small test first (above the minimum deposit) and the rest once it arrives. For a full pre-transfer check, see the Pre-Transfer Mistake-Prevention Checklist.

Five checks before your next deposit

  1. The coin and network pair appears on the OKX deposit page. If it doesn't, it isn't supported.
  2. The network on the sending side matches the one selected on OKX exactly.
  3. For memo/tag coins, you've entered both the address and the memo/tag.
  4. The amount is above the minimum deposit, after the sender's withdrawal fee is taken off.
  5. Your account has completed identity verification.

FAQ

Does OKX charge deposit fees?
OKX says crypto deposits are free. What you pay is the sending platform's withdrawal fee or the network fee; see Does OKX Charge Deposit Fees?

My OKX deposit shows as credited but I can't withdraw it. Why?
Crediting and unlocking withdrawals use different confirmation counts. The funds are credited but haven't reached the withdrawal threshold yet; they unlock automatically once they do.

Can a deposit below the minimum be recovered?
It won't be credited automatically. OKX supports recovery only for some coins, with a recovery fee; support decides case by case.

I sent USDT to OKX on the wrong network. Can I get it back?
You can submit a request through the Deposit Self-Service Tool, but OKX says such deposits are generally not refundable and recovery isn't guaranteed.

The transaction isn't on the blockchain. What now?
The sending platform hasn't actually broadcast it yet. Contact that platform's support.
