OKX Europe Fees 2026: EEA Spot Rates, VIP Tiers and X-Perps Fees Explained
On OKX Europe, whether you've opened a derivatives account can double your spot fee. Using OKX's own notices and fee page, here are both VIP tables, the EEA zero-fee pairs, X-Perps fees and EUR deposit costs, plus how to check the rate on your own account.

Rates and amounts in this article are from when it was published and may have changed since. Current figures: Fee calculator · Binance vs OKX fees (updated daily)
Checked on October 13, 2026. Rates below come from the OKX Europe fee page, its fee table and official OKX notices, all listed at the end. OKX can change fees at any time; the rate shown under "My trading fees" when you are logged in is the one your account actually pays.
If you signed up for OKX in the EU or the wider European Economic Area (EEA), you trade on OKX Europe, and your fee schedule is not the one on the global okx.com fee page. The part that confuses most people: even at the Regular tier, OKX Europe has two different spot schedules, and which one you get depends on whether you have opened a derivatives (X-Perps) account.
Short answer: as of October 13, 2026, a Regular EEA user with a spot-only account pays 0.100% maker / 0.200% taker on spot. A Regular EEA user who has opened a derivatives account pays 0.080% maker / 0.100% taker, the same as a Regular user on the global site. Below are both tier tables, how your tier is set, the EEA zero-fee pairs, X-Perps fees and EUR deposits and withdrawals.
OKX Europe vs global: Regular-tier fees at a glance
| Account | Spot maker | Spot taker | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| OKX Europe, spot-only account | 0.100% | 0.200% | Since Sep 25, 2026; excludes stablecoin and zero-fee pairs |
| OKX Europe, derivatives (X-Perps) account opened | 0.080% | 0.100% | Not changed in September |
| OKX Europe stablecoin pairs (Regular) | 0.000% | 0.050% | Same Regular rate on both schedules |
| Global okx.com, Regular | 0.08% | 0.10% | For comparison |
OKX's own explanation is that EEA fees are set by two things: your fee tier, and whether you have opened a derivatives (X-Perps) account. Two European traders with similar volume can therefore pay taker fees that differ by a factor of two.
What changed on September 25 and October 9, 2026
The spot-only schedule has changed several times this year, so many numbers you find online are out of date:
- April 22 – September 25, 2026: Regular spot-only accounts paid 0.200% maker / 0.350% taker.
- From September 25, 2026, 10:00 (UTC+2): OKX lowered the Regular spot-only rate to 0.100% maker / 0.200% taker.
- From October 9, 2026, 10:00 (UTC+2): rates stayed the same, but the 30-day volume thresholds for VIP tiers went up (table below).
The same notices state that spot fees, volume tiers and asset thresholds for clients with a derivatives account remain unchanged.
One warning: on the day we checked, two OKX Europe FAQ pages still showed the old 0.200% / 0.350% table. When numbers disagree, go by the most recent notice and the rate you see when logged in.
Spot-only accounts: VIP tiers and fees (from October 9, 2026)
This table applies to all spot pairs except stablecoin pairs and zero-fee pairs. Thresholds are in EUR, and meeting either the asset or the volume threshold is enough.
| Tier | Assets (EUR) | 30-day volume (EUR) | Maker | Taker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Regular | 0 | 0 | 0.100% | 0.200% |
| VIP 1 | 100,000 | 1,000,000 | 0.090% | 0.180% |
| VIP 2 | 200,000 | 5,000,000 | 0.080% | 0.160% |
| VIP 3 | 2,000,000 | 10,000,000 | 0.060% | 0.140% |
| VIP 4 | 5,000,000 | 20,000,000 | 0.040% | 0.120% |
| VIP 5 | 20,000,000 | 100,000,000 | 0.030% | 0.100% |
| VIP 6 | 50,000,000 | 200,000,000 | 0.000% | 0.080% |
| VIP 7 | 100,000,000 | 500,000,000 | 0.000% | 0.070% |
| VIP 8 | 250,000,000 | 1,000,000,000 | 0.000% | 0.060% |
| VIP 9 | 500,000,000 | 5,000,000,000 | 0.000% | 0.040% |
Stablecoin pairs: Regular users pay 0.000% maker / 0.050% taker. The notice does not list separate stablecoin rates for each VIP tier, so VIP users should check the logged-in fee page.
Accounts with a derivatives account: spot VIP tiers and fees
These rates match the global okx.com spot schedule; the difference is that OKX Europe measures thresholds in EUR.
| Tier | Assets (EUR) | 30-day volume (EUR) | Maker | Taker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Regular | 0 | 0 | 0.0800% | 0.1000% |
| VIP 1 | 100,000 | 1,000,000 | 0.0675% | 0.0800% |
| VIP 2 | 200,000 | 5,000,000 | 0.0600% | 0.0700% |
| VIP 3 | 2,000,000 | 10,000,000 | 0.0550% | 0.0650% |
| VIP 4 | 5,000,000 | 20,000,000 | 0.0300% | 0.0450% |
| VIP 5 | 20,000,000 | 100,000,000 | 0.0250% | 0.0350% |
| VIP 6 | 50,000,000 | 200,000,000 | 0.0000% | 0.0300% |
| VIP 7 | 100,000,000 | 500,000,000 | -0.0010% | 0.0230% |
| VIP 8 | 250,000,000 | 1,000,000,000 | -0.0025% | 0.0200% |
| VIP 9 | 500,000,000 | 5,000,000,000 | -0.0050% | 0.0150% |
A negative maker fee means you receive a rebate when your resting order fills. For VIP 7 to VIP 9, older FAQ pages show different numbers from the latest notice and the fee page; this table uses the September 25, 2026 notice and the fee page.
How your OKX Europe fee tier is set
- Assets or volume, not both. Your tier is based on total account assets or 30-day trading volume; meeting one is enough.
- Measured in EUR. OKX Europe thresholds are in euros; the global site uses US dollars.
- Zero-fee pairs don't count. Trades on zero-fee pairs are excluded from your 30-day spot volume.
- Sub-accounts are included. The tier uses the 30-day volume and daily asset snapshots of the main account and all sub-accounts.
- Updated daily. OKX refreshes fee tiers between 8:00 and 10:00 PM UTC each day.
OKX Europe zero-fee pairs
The EEA zero-fee list is not the same as the global one. On the day we checked, the "Zero-fee pairs" tab of the OKX Europe fee table listed:
| Pair | Maker | Taker |
|---|---|---|
| USDC-EUR | 0% | 0% |
| BTC-PLN | 0% | 0% |
| ETH-PLN | 0% | 0% |
| USDC-PLN | 0% | 0% |
For comparison, on the same day only PYUSD-USDT and USDC-USDT were 0% maker and 0% taker on the global site. Zero fees still leave the bid-ask spread, which is covered in OKX Zero Trading Fees: Which Spot Pairs Are 0%. The list changes, so check the "Zero-fee pairs" tab before you trade.
X-Perps perpetual futures fees
X-Perps are OKX's perpetual futures for EEA users. OKX says they are for verified EEA users, and you must pass an appropriateness assessment before a derivatives account is opened.
- Regular users: 0.02% maker, 0.05% taker.
- Funding is settled every 8 hours. When the funding rate is positive, longs pay shorts; when it is negative, shorts pay longs. Funding is exchanged between traders and is not a platform fee; see OKX Funding Rate Explained for the calculation.
OKX's X-Perps fee article and its fee table currently give different VIP thresholds and top-tier rates, so we don't list them here. Use the logged-in fee page if you need them.
EUR deposits, withdrawals and crypto withdrawal fees
- EUR deposits by SEPA: no OKX fee, though your bank may charge one. OKX accepts both standard SEPA and SEPA Instant; fast SEPA Instant deposits apply within the €100,000 limit.
- EUR withdrawals by SEPA: no OKX fee; your bank may charge one.
- Card and other deposit methods: the fee is shown when you pick the method; we don't list figures here.
- Crypto deposits: free on the OKX side.
- Crypto withdrawals: a flat fee per coin and network, shown on the withdrawal page.
To compare networks before you withdraw, see the withdrawal fee table for every coin, built from OKX global and Binance public fee data. For an OKX Europe account, the amount on the withdrawal screen is what you'll pay.
Worked example: buying and selling €1,000 of BTC
Say you are a Regular OKX Europe user. You buy €1,000 of BTC with a market order (taker), then sell it all with another market order. Ignoring the spread and price movement:
| Account | Buy fee | Sell fee | Round trip |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spot-only (taker 0.200%) | €2.00 | €2.00 | €4.00 |
| Derivatives account opened (taker 0.100%) | €1.00 | €1.00 | €2.00 |
| Spot-only, filled as maker (0.100%) | €1.00 | €1.00 | €2.00 |
On a spot-only account, getting filled as a maker instead of using market orders halves the fee. Is a limit order maker or taker? explains which limit orders count as maker.
If you are thinking about opening a derivatives account only for the lower spot rate, be clear about the trade-off: you must pass an appropriateness assessment, and derivatives can lose your entire margin. A fee difference is not a reason to trade derivatives.
To try other amounts or VIP tiers, use the fee calculator. Its OKX spot rates are the same numbers as the OKX Europe schedule for accounts with a derivatives account (OKX Europe thresholds are in EUR). For a spot-only account, use the 0.100% / 0.200% table above instead.
How to check the rate on your own account
- Log in to OKX Europe and open Assets > My trading fees. OKX says the rates shown while you are logged in are the ones that apply to your account.
- Make sure you are reading the right schedule. The public, logged-out fee page shows the 0.08% / 0.10% schedule by default; don't assume it applies to a spot-only account.
- For stablecoin or zero-fee pairs, check the rate on that tab separately.
